Unpop is a browser extension for Chrome and Safari that blocks ads, trackers and hidden popups on video players. It is built so that no personal data ever leaves your computer.
Nothing. Unpop has no servers, no accounts, no analytics and no telemetry. It does not send your browsing history, the pages you visit, or any other information to the developer or to any third party.
To work, Unpop keeps a small amount of data in your browser's local extension storage. This data never leaves your device:
You can erase learned and allowed domains at any time with Reset learning in the Unpop popup. Uninstalling the extension deletes all of its data.
Unpop asks for access to all websites because ads and popup scripts can appear on any site. It uses this access only to block ad requests, hide ad elements and stop unwanted popups, all locally in your browser. Page content is never read for any other purpose, and never stored or transmitted.
The blocking lists (EasyList and EasyPrivacy) are bundled inside the extension. Unpop does not download anything at runtime.
Unpop does not collect data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
